Due to financial constraints on just about everything, I've been forced to get a real job. I'll have less time to work on EF, play games, or do just about anything fun, or that I enjoy. My activity is going to go down, and so are new features I add and timeliness of my responses. Everything should still run smoothly, we've got four super mods. Anyhow, I need money, so, I hope EF keeps continuing to grow.
If you can help by generating new traffic here or by writing helpful tutorials or guides for how to do anything, please do. I plan to have a FAQs/Reviews section up eventually, so, if you know any good software for that, or have anything to donate, that'd be great.
That is all. I've worked damned hard on this site over the past two years, so, I hope it all amounts to something.
Ry addon; actually to make things simpler on the deity, and request and such should be directed towards, Sy, Darke, Maj or myself. We'll be able to tell you if your request can be done or why not, or on the chance it not an adminly thing we may be able to fulfill it instead. Okay, it's been awhile since I posted one of these, and the one Kaze had up here was a request that he felt needed to be on the front page...?
Anyhow, for those of you that somehow fit into the category of people who frequent EF, but, only the front page to check the news, and you don't necessarily post or login... yes, I'm aware that group has anywhere from a few to zero people, but, I'm addressing YOU anyways, since that's what news posts seem to do... but, I've digressed.
For those of you [see above for end of this addressee], EF has had quite a lot happening recently. The biggest thing is probably that we merged with Ace and Icey's site, NDS Medley. Well, more like our site ate theirs. But, anyhow, we have threenewmoderators, quite a few new members (putting us just under 300), many of which are active, and many new sections about DS emulation.
We've also got a Wii section, for those of you interested in wii homebrew (There's also a good walkthrough by segabrainhere), and a Reviews section, for those of you that want to share your reviews or various games. However, I think if it gets even semi-popular, I'll end up making a review type area where people can submit and post their reviews, as opposed to it being part of the forums.
Also, there's a tutorial up for how to install custom firmware on your PSP and use that to play PSX Games! I wrote it myself, so, it should be pretty accurate.
Unfortunately, due to various legal issues, everything I've mentioned above sans Reviews requires registration (signing up and agreeing to our terms) and subsequent promotion (you need 5 non-spam posts) to even view. So, if you are interested, get on that!
I've been updating and fixing a whole plethora of things. I've got a nice fancy To-Do list set up in Niftyness, and, I've accomplished a lot of things I've been meaning to do. I even started posting on the blog I set up forever ago.
Anyhow, I'm a bit emotionally drained due to various circumstances right now, so, I'm just going to be relaxing and playing Morrowind. I feel like I've accomplished a lot, so, I don't mind giving myself a break, indefinite may it be. . If there's anything small anyone needs done, feel free to PM me, MSN me, or email me.

You may have noticed that earlier today the server appeared down. It was not down. However, NameCheap was having problems with domain names on ENOM, Inc.'s servers, so, they weren't resolving properly. Emulysian Fields was up the entire time, and this is no reflection on the server quality. The problem was resolved, and it shouldn't happen again. Just thought I'd let you all know.
Okay, so, to fix the problems we've been having on the server, Stroh hired "professionals", and everything was down from 11:30pm last night or so to 11:00am this morning. They must have been really good at their job. Too hardcore for our server. >.>
Anyhow, sorry for the downtime, we shouldn't be experiencing anymore any time soon. Let me know if anything is broken, and I'll fix it.
So, you've probably all noticed the server is faster. I've moved everything over to the new server, and it's completely awesome. We're not quite at 100%, and I'm working on getting everything back up the way it was. So far, I think it's just mail that's suffering.
I've got Elysia back up for now, but, Verizon blocks port 80, so, I can't use my home server right , so, you guys can't register. (However, the rep said I was allowed to host a server if I figured out how to do a workaround. Mike at Hampton Tech Support of Verizon, I have your name, so, if they try to get me in trouble, YOU said I could do it. ) So, you have to do the whole _F _M thing to register, and, most of your accounts are gone as per a few months back when my landlord cut my power WHILE I was editing stuff on the server. Also, Maj and I plan to do a complete re-haul of everything and make it less of an RO clone, and more of its own game.
Anyhow, once I get the hosting website up, I'll start selling cheap hosting for non-friends that want it. I have trouble making friends or people I REALLY think deserve websites pay, as my first real good server was given to me for free by a friend. Anyhow, I've just had lots to do with EF and now I'm kind of burnt on web work... for now. But, it'll all get done soon.
Also, these news posts will start having links in them again soon. They'll be all exciting and full of magic and joy... and wonder....
Okay, so, I'm back in my apartment, and I just got internet. It is HELLA fucking fast. Like, seriously. And it's the cheapest one they offer, too. I don't quite know how fast it is, because everything is instant. I've downloaded two 1MB files via http, and they both downloaded instantly, with their download stats being:

So... I guess we'll see. However, because of my new interwebs, it has become apparent to me that EF's server is slower than I realized. It's a good thing we're moving over to Stroh's dedicated server in the VERY near future (And here's a plug to wabuf.com for his help. ), but expect some downtime soon. However, after that, EF will be faster, and I'll be selling hosting. So, woo.
And in a few weeks, I'm going on a trip, and I will be the happiest I've ever been in my entire life. But, I won't be here, or likely really online for a week or so. Exact dates are being omitted for personal reasons, so, don't pry.
Having said all of that, I know I said I'd do a lot for a lot of you once I got my internet back, so, hit me up on MSN or something.
